Spanning time.

Dropcards, as a company, has existed since 2004. We have had four versions of a "blog" in that time. This is number five. That's one a year. Me personally, I've been around for three of them. Most incarnations have been a rarely updated, mildly entertaining "news" section masquerading as a blog. Buddyhead circa 1999 they were not (I'm just kidding, no one ever really liked Buddyhead.)

To understand why we've had five blogs in five years you have to understand but one thing; we're pretty boring. We stroll into work at 9-ish. We make some really pretty websites. We print a heck of a lot of download cards. We have meetings. We go visit clients. We talk on the phone. We write e-mails. We sometimes eat lunch. We keep telling ourselves that we'll leave work at 5 -- then 5 becomes 6, 6 becomes 7 and the next thing you know it's almost 1 AM (edit: It's now 1:28) on a Friday night and you're writing the first blog entry of your company's FIFTH attempt at a blog.

How often can you talk about websites and download cards? I could better entertain you by whispering the dictionary in your ear somewhere over the Pacific in the seventh hour of a thirteen hour flight to Japan. Our clients on the other hand, they do a lot of rad stuff and we want to tell you about them. Our industry has a lot of awesome stuff going on and and as regular people in Clark Kent life, we're into some pretty cool stuff too so I'm certain when we put out heads together, and this becomes a little less about us and more about everyone else, we can fill up this obvious attempt at increasing our natural search engine results with a frequently updated Blogger account new blog with lots of fun stuff.

So this is it. We're just having fun now. This is going to be the one that sticks. There will be no sixth blog. And if there is, we're not going to tell you it's the sixth one. We'll pretend it's the first and you'll be none the wiser cuz you're probably not even reading this one. Thanks to you if you are.
